I wanted to love the rifle, I've always been drawn to lever actions with the walnut. Sadly after extensive cleaning and correct lubrication, I have nothing but miss feeds. I've tried several types of ammo, different manufacturers and different grains with no luck. Sometimes it will feed a few rounds and then it wont. I also have an S&W 1854 45-70 that's feeds just fine. I contacted S&W customer service but haven't heard back yet, kind of wishing I would have bought the Henry or another Marlin. For the cost of this rifle, this shouldn't be happening.
I just tried minor sight adjustment, it felt great with high precision
After break in process all fine
I was another option the marlin 1894 but thr picattini and the feeling when you get it made me decide by s&W
