Rare 1975 Factory 404 Chinese SKS - Appears Unfired!

Very rare "early" Chinese SKS in great condition. Produced by the very rarely seen Factory 404 (the "River Gorge Marine Diesel Engine Plant, apparently), this SKS offers some rarely seen early production features, including a full bayonet lug (missing bayonet), milled receiver and trigger guard, threaded-on barrel with "short barrel lug," as opposed to the later, cheaper pinned barrel, and painted-in rear sight. Otherwise, this is a totally normal example of a typical Chinese SKS. Condition is very nice. Stock has a few dings, which is normal for these later imported guns, as they were often arsenal rebuilds of previously issued guns but retains all original finish and has no serious gouges. All metal surfaces retain original finish, with top cover showing a little bit of wear. Bore is excellent and appears to be without fouling. A layer of Cosmoline is present on all surfaces, including in the chamber.
